Dear Doug:

I just wanted to thank you for your hard work and dedication in helping to evaluate and resolve my recent case in Placer County. Your report was very detailed and specific regarding the weakness of the prosecution's case. After reading your report, the prosecution was forced to admit that their case was weak. They subsequently dismissed the case before the hearing. Most likely they were not looking forward to hearing your detailed testimony regarding their photographic evidence.

It was very interesting to talk to you about how photos are authenticated and dated, and how those dates can be manipulated by computer software and by failure to update the dates saved into the digital camera. The police and prosecution were very eager to believe the dates saved on the digital photos, but your report helped convince them that this data was unreliable. I really appreciated how quickly you responded to all my questions and how easy you were to reach by phone and email.
